"BrainSport's Deductive Reasoning Home Game" -- the game show home game from a parallel universe. One round of five, from a show billing itself as a 'modern mental pentathlon.' OBJECT: Grab the card that matches neither color nor suit of either card below. Two cards with two suits means one card remains that isn't eliminated by the clues-- that's the one you try to grab before anybody else can. Grab the right one, you get points. Grab the wrong one, everybody else gets points.
Solo players can use 1-5 to lock in their choices, multiplayer mode has players using five of the buttons to buzz in (left, up, right, A, and B). It's fairly playable, I just ain't got around to adding sfx or music yet, nor really tested the multiplayer-- one player mode works well enough for my liking that I wanted to share *something* I have made.
Based on the brilliant 'Schnappen' from the German television program 'Schlag den Raab.' My apologies to Brainpool TV GmbH, Stefan Raab, as well as anybody connected with them for my doing their game wrong like this, but I wanted to see what a version of this where shapes and colors weren't consistent across trials would play like and I have to say I think it plays pretty well.
