This is the highest quality I can play a PCM sample in one TIC-80 sound channel without dead gaps in the audio. Though I haven't wrote a script for converting sounds yet, I luckily imported the 8-bit Panda sprites and map, and chose a random length (in blocks) and base address.

Each block is a 60Hz unit of audio data, like in each individual frame of MP3 songs. These contain a master volume for the block and a 32-step portion that's loaded to the sound RAM. The data is read from the 80K memory region, where the cartridge assets also are read by the functions.
