WinMines95 is a retro-styled adaptation of a popular gambling game. Your computer has been infected with ransomware, which demands a $20,000 ransom—and if you lose all your money, it will destroy the files on your computer.
Game rules: You begin with $500. To start, launch "Mines" from the Start menu. There are 3 mines hidden on a 5x5 grid; your goal is to avoid them. Each safe square you uncover increases your multiplier. The number displayed on a square simply indicates the current multiplier, while the mines are placed randomly. If you lose all your money—or, conversely, if you win the required amount—you will encounter a BSoD, and the game will end.
