This is not a port, this is a recreation of the Nintendo Entertainment System Super Mario Bros. music and soundfont.
I tried to be as close to the source material as I could.
I did this cart on mobile while I listened carefully to each channel from a NES emulator with the original ROM through another mobile and I wonder if I can make a full game based on this cartridge.
Why nobody made this before me?...

Thank you, I am happy about this experiment!
It's time to reveal this, it's not only the main theme in the cart (plus underwater and star for those who actually entered edit mode): Track 0 = underwater Track 1 = main Track 2 = star Track 3 = ...empty... Track 4 = castle Track 5 = level complete Track 6 = castle complete Track 7 = beating the game Fun fact: not a big surprise, the 3rd track was supposed to be for underground, but I ran out of slots (only 2 are left), this experiment would've been probably perfect if I used memory music seen in some carts instead, I think that approach would be also accurate to how NES tracks work? I don't know! However for the short sounds like life losing, game over and less time remaining I was thinking to make those through memory music. |

can you transfer sounds from smb to TIC-80 for my project? (well, you can create the rest of the songs in another cartridge)

Theoretically everyone can recreate the sounds from the game. I don't plan to extend this experiment for now, sorry!
