A fantasy themed sidescrolling shooter.
Currently WIP. As of now, only two unfinished stages exist in the game - town and castle.
The technological goal is to fit a PRO-style game within 64 KiB of code and 1 bank of each asset type.
Also, my first original TIC-80 game to be made public.
Press/hold A button (Z key) - shoot
B button (X key) - turn around
Y button (S key) - pause
(To be added) X button (A key) - special
What's new:
Added "gnat" enemies
Added rear warning (suggested by MFauzan)
The player now moves faster
The player's hitbox is now 10x10 pixels in size
Enemy bullets are now glowing blue orbs (suggested by Weeppiko)

Very nice game, thanks. Nice to see some effect other than simple 2d ones too :).

Great game! The sprites you make always look beautiful. I can't wait to hear some of the music you make for this game in the future.
My suggestion: It might be better if you display a warning with the location where the enemy will come, especially the one coming from the left. Because I think it's quite difficult to avoid it. |

This is really fun to play! I like how simple the mechanics are, yet still give the player a decent challenge.
The parallax scrolling was a nice surprise, too. The art style reminds me of Howl's Moving Castle. Are you planning on adding music at some point? |
