This is a simple game where you play as a blue block and try your best to avoid the red blocks flying towards you. It's not much, but it's the first time I did more than change the sprites of the Hello World program. The music defaults to track 1, but you can switch to track 2 or turn off the music entirely. If you would like to reset your high score, you can do so by exiting the cart and going to the editor and setting hsc_r to 1. Once the high score has been reset, you must set hsc_r back to 0 to continue playing the game. I can't take much credit for this game, though, as the base game code for the player, enemies, and hit detection were created by ChatGPT via a prompt to make a simple TIC-80 game in Lua. If i had more knowledge about making TIC-80 games in Lua, I probably could have done the whole thing on my own, but I don't know nearly as much about TIC-80 Lua than I do Commodore 64 BASIC. I can't be credited for the music either, since I used the music from the TIC-80 demo music.tic, created by nesbox. Track 1 is just a blatent copy, and track 2 is a "remix" of sorts. I like to think that each track represents your "gaming mood" (yes, I know, sounds cringe). Track 1 = Going for a new world record, and track 2 = just playing 'cause why not? The only things that I myself did were modifying some of ChatGPT's code, making sprites/tiles, and modifying nesbox's music. Feel free to fix/modify the cartridge an republish it as something better, not like I really made much of it anyway.
