@JKBYKM The particles were super easy to do with the Squirrel framework I designed, you can basically just add an attached electron as a sprite component, add some logic to orbit the centre point, and some extra rendering to do the trail. Essentially just atom.Add(AttachedElectron())

Oh and I'm so geeky that the electron orbital distance is based on valence shells. Yes I know electrons exist in a probability cloud but that's too hard to draw. :)

I would absolutely love to see a full version of this with way more upgrades, Undertale style bosses, more money types, and atom levels, even a survival / depletion mode. Amazing job and keep up the good work.
