A simple bare-bones and dirty implementation of the Same Game.
There is Same2 which is another version with animations and an overall more "finished" look.

"Same" is one of the earlier puzzle games for computers and I wouldn't be surprised to hear that it's been created for a lot of platforms.
Likewise "Candy Crush", being a match3 type of game has had so many names before it got massive success under that name... I remember firstly playing "Kyodai Mahjongg"'s version in the 2000s; soon after "Bejeweled" had its debut (and I believe this was the first time match3 got wide spread). In 2005 I created one version in C under DOS that was called TOOTA (The Orbs Of The Ancients) that was a simple one screen program (got my "programming licence" with it). |
